Stuff I heart in May

May has been one whirlwind of a month. I am so busy I just started to obsess over my favorite things for this month. So here are the winners. :)

Double ring: My two younger sisters have over 20 of these accessories combined. I think they have the
                     real obsession. Right now I'm only fashioning about 3, of course not all at one time that's
                     just plain silly.

Martha Stewart Living mag: It was weird, I looked into my mailbox the other day and lucky me I was
                                             the proud owner of two MSL mags for the month of May. I think they just
                                             forgot to send May's issue but both the May and June issues have super
                                             crafty ideas for graduations and summer livin'! Check it out!

Nude heels: Nude is the new black for summer. I am lovin' the nude look on any pretty pedicured foot. If
                    you think about it, nude matches with any color attire, especially a silky jumper.

Tissue paper: Love, love it, love it. I have been using tissue paper for years to create things like paper
                      balls, wrapping paper and now garland. I got this great idea from MSL's June issue. Can't
                      wait to recreate her fab grad garland for Mr. G's party.

Mark Romanek: Mark was the director for Jay Z's "99 Problems" video and is also a renowned film
                           director. His point of view, lighting and powerful portraits should be any
                           photographer's inspiration. I know I am hooked.

Communion: Marly Rose

"There's a party going on right here....c e l e b r a t e good times come on!" sang, Marly Rose, in her tiniest seven year old voice after she received the host. Marly is one of the spunkiest little girls I know. On May 1st Marly Rose made her First Holy Communion at St. Mary's Church. Here are all the details from the beginning to the celebration.

In honor of the Laker game today, here is a photo of my hometown MBA team. The Lakers are only ahead one game in the series. Hopefully they will finally win a road game and close out the OK City team tonight!

San Diego Wedding: Kim & Danny

This weekend Mr. G and I went to our friends' wedding in San Diego. It turned out to be a gorgeous sunny Saturday in Balboa Park at the Prado. The beautiful bride, Kim, was dressed in a knockout white, satin strapless gown. I loved all the details from the rich red, black and silver color scheme to the festive polka dot mini-Mexican cookies.

Stuff I Heart in APRIL

Of course I heart most of these items year round like Forever 21 and Law and Order but recently I've been obsessed with the rest.

Scrapbooking paper-Loved it since I started scrapbooking in college but I recentley used the hell outta it for my Alice bday party

Jessica Simpson shoes-two words: high heels! I'm also gonna diva these up at the wedding:)

Law and Order SVU-have been a fan since forever but ever since we got a DVR I'm all about Stabler and Benson...too bad I think I've watched every episode created:(

A Very Merry Unbirthday to ME!

For my birthday I decided to have an Alice in Wonderland theme birthday party. I made everything from the pillows to the cake balls. Though, I can't take all the credit; the cute cake was made by my mom and one of my friends made the colorful cupcakes.
